Duty of Care

HAZARDOUS WASTE
Every producer of waste has a legal duty of care to dispose of their materials in a responsible manner, whether they are hazardous or not. This applies to all materials, even those sent for precious metal recovery. The Environment Agency regards these as waste under their regulations despite their value.

We handle hazardous wastes including cyanide solutions and acids.  We are able to advise you in relation to The Hazardous Waste (England & Wales) Regulations 2005 and supply the required documentation.
We can also will advise you on the most suitable treatment for your materials.
Our fully trained staff will collect from you, and you can be secure in the knowledge that your goods are fully insured both whilst in transit and on our property.

The premises of Kaug Refinery Services are licensed as a waste disposal site; we are also accredited carriers of waste, and our drivers hold ADR training certificates to carry dangerous goods.

Waste Carrier licence BUT/773445 issued by the Environment Agency.
